ABOUT
Design plays an essential role in navigating the world around us, from typefaces designed for high legibility on transportation signs to the user interface on your smartphone map. I find graphic design to be the perfect balance between aesthetic beauty and functionality, which is what makes it interesting for me. As a designer, I ensure that the creative solutions I provide focus on successfully executing the intent and addressing the target audience. I enjoy using a variety of display typefaces to create expressive typography, and the overall fiddle-iness of graphic design. As an artist, I enjoy taking a break from the computer screen to make other things by hand. Between snapping objects to points in Illustrator and the smoothness of a brush gliding across paper, working with both digital and traditional mediums allows me to appreciate each of them more.

The COVID-19 pandemic prompted her to learn more about her Asian-American identity, and she enrolled in the Asian-American Studies Certificate program. After graduation, she has just under a year of Professional experience in brand identity and development, digital and print-ready publication design, and image editing for e-commerce.
